![]() The next event I will be attending is Bouchercon 2018, which will be held at the Vinoy Renaissance St Petersburg Resort. The location is practically in my back yard, and it's a beautiful, historic one. Bouchercon is an enormous mystery and crime fiction festival held annually. Both fans and authors attend the conference, and it's a great place to meet people you've admired from afar. Sarah Glenn and I will both be attending, as will several members of the different Sisters in Crime chapters we belong to. I'm looking forward to catching up with my friends from Kentucky.

Sarah and I were part of the crew at the Florida Writers Association booth for the festival. It was held on the USF campus in downtown St. Petersburg. It was nice to see so many authors in one place.
The people overseeing the 2018 Bouchercon Mystery Convention also had a booth. Expect to see us there! The Amelia Island Book Fair was a great opportunity to make new friends and network. We were at the table with the Golden Crown Literary Society authors. Sarah takes a break from her new Instagram feed to watch me ply the trade. After the fair was over, we explored the historical side of the island and did some touristy things. Sarah Glenn and I will be attending the Amelia Island Book Festival on Saturday, February 18th. Come to the Author Expo/Readers Extravaganza, and look for the Golden Crown Literary Society booth to find us.
It is my great pleasure to announce that we will have a table at this Saturday's Local Author Fair in Homosassa, the location of our novel. We'll be there from 11 am to 3pm. Drop on by!
